1. General
1.1 Elmbridge Choir is registered as a charity in the United Kingdom under registration reference number 1129321.
2. Tickets
2.1 All purchases made on this website will appear on your statement as 'Elmbridge Choir'
2.2 All transactions made through our website show clearly the face value of the ticket purchased and any additional booking fee, payment processing fee and postage charges when applicable. All prices are inclusive of VAT. Elmbridge Choir will not add any additional fees to your purchase. Our credit card processing provider is PayPal and all PayPal processing fees are paid by us. Please be aware that full payment will be taken from your card at the time of booking.
2.3 This website does NOT allow you to purchase tickets based on seating preferences. Seating is based on a “first-come, first-served” basis at the selected event and venue.
2.4 Upon acceptance of your booking we will book on your behalf the event at the time and place requested.
2.5 After your booking you will be sent an email with summary of your order. Please print & retain a hard copy of the transaction receipt that will be sent to you via email. Your booking is confirmed only after we send you a second, confirmation email that your order has been processed after which we will also confirm that we have posted the ordered tickets.
2.6 Confirmation email is normally sent within 48 hours of your booking or at least 24 hours before the show for advance orders. For bookings made on the day of the performance or after 4pm a day before you will usually receive confirmation email within 2 hours of your booking, giving you enough time for box office collection before the show.
2.7 You will be responsible for any loss, theft or damage to your tickets. In the event your ticket is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed, please contact us on 07 88 07 96623 or via the “contact us” button on our home page so that we can make suitable arrangements for you to attend the event.
2.8 Always check the details on the ticket are correct as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
2.9 No tickets sold on this website are subject to any import/export restrictions.
3. Shipping/Delivery
3.1 We will post all tickets to your confirmed postal address by Royal Mail first class post. We will post tickets to the registered address on our database or if you have preferred not to register on our site, we will post it to the credit card holder’s address as supplied to us by our card processor, PayPal.
3.2 If it becomes impractical to post tickets due to the proximity of a performance date or in circumstances beyond our control we reserve the right to make the tickets available for collection at the event box office on the day, half an hour before the starting time.
3.3 It is your responsibility to inform us of any change to your contact phone number, address or email before and after receipt of tickets.
4. Admission
4.1 We reserve the right to refuse admission to a venue if we believe you can be a danger to the audience or yourself or can affect the enjoyment or duration of the show (for example due to being under influence of drugs or alcohol). A refund will not be given in such situation.
4.2 Resale of tickets purchased through this website is prohibited. Resold for commercial gain ticket becomes voidable and the ticket holder may be refused entry or ejected from the venue.
5. Events
5.1 Events and performances can be cancelled or postponed. Elmbridge Choir will not be held responsible for that.
6. Refund/Returns Policy
6.1 Once the tickets are purchased they cannot be refunded or exchanged unless the event is cancelled.
6.2 Refunds cannot be made for tickets uncollected or unused.
6.3 In case of a cancellation of an event you will should be entitled to a full refund of all the fees paid (less the booking fee and postage fee if applicable) or exchange of tickets for another date.
6.4 If Elmbridge Choir are unable to fulfil your order due to any of the reasons listed below you are entitled to a full refund with all the booking and handling fees paid:
6.4.1 Elmbridge Choir did not receive the tickets for your order from our printers, and cannot arrange for the tickets to be collected or posted
6.4.2 Elmbridge Choir dispatched the wrong order, i.e. wrong event/ wrong type of tickets
6.4.3 Elmbridge Choir did not post your tickets in time or did not arrange for box office collection
6.4.4 Any of the similar circumstances where Elmbridge Choir acted with negligence or might have acted in breach of contract.
In all the above circumstances Elmbridge Choir will not be held further responsible if the full refund was duly given.
7. Disclaimer
7.1 Elmbridge Choir exercise all reasonable endeavour to ensure the accuracy of the information on these pages however, the information on the site may be incorrect or out of date and may not constitute definitive or complete information relating to an event or any other subject matter. Prices are correct at the time of publishing and are subject to change without notice.
8. Unauthorised Use of the Website
8.1 The Website content and design is subject to copyright owned or licensed by Elmbridge Choir. The website is solely for your own use. Any illegal or unauthorized uses of the website, including attempts to sell access to or use of the site will be investigated and appropriate legal action will be taken.
9. Win-a-Seaside Flat terms and conditions
9.1 Competition closes on 22 August 2009.
9.2 Competition requires skill and in the event that more than one correct answer is received, a random draw to determine the winner will take place at the Elmbridge Choir summer concert on 5 September 2009.
9.3 Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.3 The organisers may extend the closing date in the event that insufficient tickets have been sold, in which case the random draw will take place at one of the choir’s next concerts, details of which can be found on the choir’s official website at www.elmbridgechoir.co.uk/win.html.
9.4 Winner will be notified by telephone, and will be published on the choir’s website, and must be prepared to be photographed and interviewed for publicity purposes.
9.5 There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
9.6 Net proceeds of the sale of tickets are for the Elmbridge Choir staging fund and the Choir committee may earmark funds for any other purpose in terms of its constitution.
9.7 The organizers are responsible for legal costs and stamp duty specifically relating to title registration of property into winner’s name.
9.8 Winner responsible for electricity, water, rates and refuse removal costs from date of completion of approximately £40 per month and any travel costs.
9.9 Organisers are not responsible for any taxes or any other costs from date of completion.
